Day 1

Sai Yok

Sai Yok discovery


Start from your hotel in Kanchanaburi city at 8am.
Option Transfert from Bangkok.
Walk and swim in the 7 levels of Erawan waterfalls.


Hellfire Pass is a section of the famous Death Railway where the Japanese prisoners cut a long and deep trench into a huge rock mass to allow the passage of the railway. This passage dug in the rock extends on 500 meters, on a height of 26 meters. This place was named Hellfire Pass by the prisoners, because at night, the lighting was provided by torches, which gave it an infernal and ghostly appearance. The Hellfire Pass museum displays photos, maps, models, and illustrations from the time. Information is provided about the railway and what happened in this area. The museum has a small screening room, where a short video shows some stages of the construction and where we can also hear the dialogues of several Australian prisoners of war.

The restaurant is on a floating raft on the Kwai Noi River. It is surrounded by waterfalls on one side Sai Yok Lek on the other Sai Yok Yai.

Day 2

The local market of Thong Pha Phum allows you to enjoy all the colors, the smiles of Thailand and to discover all the particularity of the typical Thai cuisine and also, in this region close to the border which counts many refugees, all the flavors of Burmese cuisine.

Visit the traditional market of Thong Pha Phum.

Wat Tha Khanun belongs to Buddhism Maha Nikaya, one of the two main branches of Thai Buddhism. It is the largest Theravada order in Thailand. This temple occupies a space of about fifteen hectares in the district of Thong Pha Phum.

Lake Khao Laem, the reservoir lake of the Vachiralonkorn Dam, is surrounded by mountains in the Tenasserim range. Depending on its level we can see vestiges of the past as the immersed temple.

Day 3

Kanchanaburi, Sangkhlaburi, Sai Yok

Easy trek, Sai Yok and hot springs


Trekking (easy walk) around 1 hour in Sangklaburi jungle
Bamboo rafting and swimming in the river.
Swimming and relaxation at Hindad hot spring.
Back to SaiYok.

Day 4


Elephants day, traditions day




The former traditional ''Pang Chang Saiyok'' camp has given birth to two distinct entities that respect the ethical principles of Elephant Nature Park: '' Elephant Haven '' and '' Saiyok Elephant Park'' . '' Safarine uses the (identical) services of one or the other indifferently.

A day with elephants from 9 am to 3 pm. In the greatest respect of the animal.

Meal preparation for the elephants.
Learn how to feed and interact with elephants.
Jungle walk with the elephant. Elephant riding is not practiced during the walk.
Take pleasure in seeing these free animals.
Swimming, bathing and playing with elephants.

Day 5

Kanchanaburi, Sai Yok

Mountain bike adventure, caves and kayaking



Simple and nice cave filled with little bats.

Discovery of the Lawa cave.

Mountain bike trip in the jungle of Sai Yok Noi.
Or option Funny Buggy 1 h ou 2 h.


This small cave temple beautifully adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, has long been known as a place of retreat and meditation.
The cave, the main element of the site, is formed by the collapse of the vault of a karst cavity due to the dissolution of the limestone layers by rainwater. Stalagmites and stalactites are still evolving.
The opening caused by the collapse of part of the vault provided a soft and pleasant lighting. A small artificial waterfall decorates the main hall Wat Tham Phu Wa recently underwent a major {makeover} with the completion of a neo-Khmer-style facade and elevation of a giant Buddha statue.

Visit Wat Tham Phu Wa temple.

A quiet descent along the water, along temples and lush gardens, ending under the famous Kwai River Bridge.
